DENTRO DE NUESTRA ALIANZA MILINERS-AMELEGAL DEFENDEMOS A LOS PERJUDICADOS POR LA DECISIÓN SOBRE EL BANCO POPULAR

Some of our customers, shareholders, bondholders and holders of Popular, have commissioned us to study their defense for damages and losses suffered by the sale of Banco Popular to Santander.

Recall what happened: until recently the ECB stated that Popular was solvent, despite the collapse of its stock market value and uncertainty about its management; The same was evident from the statements of the Spanish Government until a few days ago. Overnight, a mechanism is put in place that uses for the first time the new rules of resolution of banking institutions of the European Union that were approved after the financial crisis. On June 7, the Single Resolution Board (JUR) announced in a press release the transfer of "all shares and capital instruments" from Banco Popular to Santander (for 1 euro) so that the entity "will operate under normal conditions Of business as a solvent and liquid member of the Santander Group with immediate effect ".

That is why we are studying the relevant actions, through administrative and civil-mercantile channels, in defense of the interests of those affected. From Miliners and Amelegal we are working on possible actions to defend the interests of shareholders and bondholders before what may constitute an abuse of power or pure confiscation with a clear beneficiary, Banco Santander. If you are interested in joining our collective action you can send an email to  amelegal@amelegal.com  with your details and we will then contact you.
